The following are descriptions of our Owatonna facility located at 1930 Austin Rd.
Foyer |
The foyer in our building is centrally located between the three visitation chapels. It has a center gondola that holds memorial envelopes from all of the local charities/organizations. In addition, it has many informational brochures to help people understand the grieving process and other death related issues. |
Chapel A |
This chapel is our primary visitation and funeral chapel. It can seat about two hundred people when used for a funeral service. The room has a separate space for organists and vocalists to perform for services and also the ability to play prerecorded solo music. |
Chapel B |
Chapel B is a visitation chapel that is used for a second visitation or for a smaller setting. It can also be opened up to chapel C to allow for additional seating when a lunch is served after a funeral. |
Chapel C |
Chapel C is a multiple use chapel. It serves as our 3rd visitation chapel when needed, but is also designed to accommodate lunches after funerals. The chapel has an attached room for caterers to bring in food and a false wall that opens to chapel B to allow us to set tables and chairs for over 200 people. In addition, there is a patio just outside chapel C that provides a nice setting for people to get some fresh air. |
Arrangement Offices |
The arrangement offices are where we meet with families and clergy to plan funeral services or to provide pre-planning guidance. Each of the offices provide a quiet, secluded setting. |
Selection Room |
This room shows a new approach to designing a casket selection room. The caskets are displayed as partial units with pictures of the entire casket. The room not only allows us to display more choices for families, but also allows us many opportunities for personalizing caskets. |
