She was born March 3, 1918 in Havana Township, Minnesota the daughter of Barney and Antonia (Granowski) Nicklawske.

Frances B. Jensen (Masche), 94, of Owatonna, died Thursday, August 9, 2012 at Homestead Hospice House. Frances attended country school and graduated from Owatonna High School. She was a homemaker and farm wife in Clinton Falls with her husband Richard and their sons Robert and William. Her husband Richard died in 1972, and Frances then moved to Owatonna and five years later she married Lemoyne Jensen. She worked as a receptionist for eleven years at the Owatonna Clinic. Once both her and Lemoyne retired they enjoyed many wonderful years in their motor home travels, earning the Minnesota State Park Passport, they also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. In 1936 and 1937 she was the Steele County 4-H style review queen, and in 1937 she was the National 4-H style review queen runner up and judge in Chicago, IL. She was a past chairwoman of the Clinton Falls School Board, Board of Deacons, and past Altar Guild President, and years of service in the sacristy at Trinity Lutheran Church. She enjoyed sewing from the pattern to the garment, homemaking, cooking, canning, needlepoint and many home craft and do it yourself projects, and was also an avid Minnesota Twins fan. Frances lived a life filled with joy in the love of Christ. Thanks be to God for her gracious manner, her loving kindness and for her life which touched each of our lives, forever.
Frances knew the joy of loving two families; the Masche family and the Jensen family. Masche surviving family members, sons Robert (and Julie) Masche of Center City, and William Masche of Roseville, niece Patricia Nicklawske-Bellows, former daughter in law Kathy Masche-Millington, granddaughter Briana and husband Joe, grandson Chad and wife Elizabeth and great grandchildren Lily Camile, and Greta Fran. Jensen surviving family members; Lemoyne Jensen Husband, Judith (and Ellwood) Hansen Jr., Ronald (Patricia) Jensen, Cynthia (and Ronald Minske, all of Owatonna and Patricia (and Kent) Fralish of Mankato, and eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, husband Richard W. Masche, farmer, Deacon and Trustee at Trinity Lutheran Church and brother Eugene Nicklawske, personal guard to President Dwight D, Eisenhower, WWII and his wife Pearl.

Visitation will be at Trinity Lutheran Church on Monday August 13, 2012 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Funeral services will be held Monday August 13, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church with The Reverend Julie Malone officiating. Interment will be in the St. John Cemetery. Michaelson Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Memorials are preferred to Building for Generations at Trinity Lutheran Church, or Homestead Hospice House.
