Jose Gordo Francisco Fuentes, Jr., age 33, of Owatonna, MN, died Monday, May 30, 2016, at the Owatonna Hospital. Gordo was born on October 11, 1982 in Corpus Christi, Texas the son of Jose, Sr. and Maribel Fuentes. In 1985, he moved with his family to Minnesota. The family lived in Blooming Prairie, Faribault, and Claremont and settled in Owatonna. Most recently, he was employed as a milker on the Saemrow Dairy in Warsaw. Gordo enjoyed playing basketball (with Chanclas ), playing video games, wrestling, barbeques with family, listening to music (2Pac), playing cards on weekends and movie night. He also enjoyed spending time with his family especially his nieces and nephews. He was outgoing and was known by his family to be crazy. Survived by parents, Jose, Sr. and Maribel Fuentes of Owatonna; partner, Suntanna Honney Bun Copp of Owatonna; siblings, Cindy (Tony) Espinoza of Owatonna, Jeannette (James) Fuentes of Owatonna, Javier (Kristy) Fuentes of Rock Springs, TX and Jay Fuentes of Owatonna; grandmother, Emma Garza of Owatonna and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Angel Fuentes; grandparents, Domingo Garza, Sr. and Maria Fuentes and cousins, George Mando Garza, Gilberto Yoyo Garza and Oscar Martinez. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30am Saturday, June 4, 2016, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Owatonna with Father John Sauer officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, June 2nd from 4-8pm, Friday, June 3rd from 4-8pm all at Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna, and Saturday, June 4th at the church one hour prior to Mass.
