Alfred W. Buecksler, 85, of Owatonna, died Sunday, June 8, 2008 at Homestead Hospice House. He was born August 30, 1922 in Meriden Township the son of Paul and Elma (Mundt) Buecksler. Alfred attended school in the Meriden School District. Throughout most of his life, Alfred farmed in Meriden Township. He was a life long member of St. Paul''s Lutheran Church, Meriden. He is survived by his sisters, Eunice Kruesel and Delores (and Lyle) Rassmussen all of Owatonna; brother, Harlan Buecksler of Wisconsin; 2 nieces and 1 nephew. Alfred was preceded in death by his brother, Wilfred Buecksler. Private family services will be held with interment in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 2797 SW 92nd Ave., Waseca, MN 56093 or to the donor's choice.
