Alfred Sobrack, 82, of rural New Richland, died Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at New Richland Care Center. He was born November 26, 1934 in Owatonna the son of Mike and Margaret (Stangler) Sobrack. Alfred worked for area farmers and later bought his own truck for hauling milk. He then worked for several years at OMC before retiring. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. Alfred enjoyed league bowling in his earlier years as well as RV'ing, fishing and deer hunting. He is survived by his sons, Alfred Ron (and Val) Sobrack of Big Fork, Charles Sobrack of Jacksonville, FL, Jim (and Leone) Sobrack of Hurley, WI; 6 grandchildren; brother, Raymond (and Shirley) Sobrack of Claremont; sisters, Gertrude (and Dewayne) Halverson of Owatonna, Marcella Boyette of Spokane, WA and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine; son, Edward; daughter, Suzanne; brother, Don. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Friday from 4pm to 7pm and on Saturday from 9:30am to 10:30am. Funeral services will be held December 10, 2016 at 10:30am at Michaelson Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Klawiter officiating. Interment will be in the Owatonna Memorial Gardens in Owatonna.
