Alma Pauline Knott, 82, of Kenyon, died Friday, October 19, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 6, 1936 in San Antonio, Texas the daughter of Forrest and Leona (Hintchel) Wise. Alma graduated from Hinton High School in Hinton, OK. She married Darwin Knott March 25, 1955 at Red Rock Church in Calumet, OK. The couple moved their family to Minnesota in 1963 to farm with Darwin's family. Alma and Darwin raised their family and farmed together for many years. She was a member of Hegre Lutheran Church where she enjoyed helping with Sunday school. She also served as a 4-H leader. Alma enjoyed fishing, playing cards, bowling, shopping and most importantly spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Darwin Knott of Kenyon; daughters, Marilyn (and Mark) Sinex of Emmaus, PA, Debbie (and Tim) Jensen of Backus; sons, Gene Knott of Kenyon, John Knott of West Concord, Don Knott of Kenyon, Greg (and Tara) Knott of Kenyon; 28 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Julie Patterson. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home, Kenyon on Wednesday from 5pm to 8pm and at Hegre Lutheran Church on Thursday from 10am to 11am. Memorial services will be held Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 11am at Hegre Lutheran Church with Pastor Renita Eidenschink and Pastor Dick Hegal officiating.
