Angela Angie J. Reynolds, 51, of Claremont, died Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Methodist Hospital following a brief cancer journey. Angie was born October 9, 1965 in Owatonna, Minnesota the daughter of Eugene and Shirley (Velzke) Blaker. She grew up and attended school in Owatonna, graduating with the Class of 1984. She began her career with Truth Hardware in 1986 and was currently employed there. She was united in marriage to Larry Reynolds on May 28, 1993 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Owatonna. The couple lived in Owatonna before moving to their home in Aurora Township. Angie enjoyed birdwatching, gardening, spending time outdoors, reading Westerns, her cat Callie and dog Tucker and watching NASCAR. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church where she served on the Altar Guild. She also was a Sunday School teacher when she attended St. John Lutheran near her home. She is survived by her husband, Larry Reynolds of Claremont; father, Eugene Blaker of Owatonna; children, Samantha Reynolds of Owatonna and Zachary Reynolds of Owatonna; brother, Chris Blaker of Owatonna and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by mother, Shirley; infant brother, Doug and her grandparents. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Owatonna with Reverend Kirk Griebel officiating. Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Owatonna Memorial Gardens. Memorials are preferred to Redeemer Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society.
