Anita Anne Sturtz, 53, of Kenyon, died Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Kenyon Sunset Home.
She was born January 11, 1966 in Lincoln Park, Michigan the daughter of Charles and Kay (Childress) Sturtz. Anita moved from Michigan to Texas where she lived for a short time before moving to Mississippi. While in Mississippi she met and married Charles Rea. After surviving Hurricane Katrina she moved to Minnesota. While living in Minnesota, she worked at Papa's Restaurant in Kenyon and Ruby's Bar in Dennison.
Anita enjoyed sketching pencil drawings, fishing, socializing with friends around a campfire and gardening. She also helped care for the courtyard at the Kenyon Sunset Home.
She is survived by her mother, Kay Sturtz of LaFollette, TN; daughter, Candice Sturtz; son, Tommy Canipe; grandchildren, Kayleigh Todd , Shelby Anton , Confidance Henderson, Ariana Canipe; brother, Jimmy Williamson; sister, Peggy Schroeder; nieces, nephews and companion, Gary Schwake.
She was preceded in death by father, Charles Sturtz and nephew, Brandon Williamson
Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home, Kenyon on Friday, May 17, 2019 from 2pm to 5pm.
