Ann G. Rocek, 77, of West Concord, died Saturday, January 17, 2009 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester. She was born December 7, 1931 in Wanamingo, MN the daughter of Olaf and Clara (Thompson) Greseth. Ann graduated from Wanamingo High School in 1949, after school she worked in Wanamingo, and later married Joseph Rocek November 25, 1955 at Lands Lutheran Church in Zumbrota, MN. The couple farmed outside of West Concord, and then later moved to town in 1988. Joseph died in 2003. Ann was a very active member of Moland Lutheran, where she was involved in teaching Sunday school, choir and the church organist for almost forty years. She was also involved with the Senior Citizens in West Concord. She is survived by two sons, Allan (and Kirsten) Rocek of Saratoga Springs, UT; Kevin Rocek of West Concord; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Ann is also survived by two brothers Lester (and Maxine) Greseth, and Ordean (and Bonnie) Greseth both of Wanamingo. Her husband Joseph preceded her in death. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home- Kenyon on Friday January 23 from 5-7 PM and at Moland Lutheran Church on Saturday January 24 from 1-2 PM. Funeral service will be held Saturday January 24, at 2:00 PM at Moland Lutheran Church with The Reverend Nancy Edwardson officiating. Interment will be in the Moland Lutheran Cemetery.
