Annette Marie Engel, 56, of Rochester, died Thursday, September 29, 2011 at her home. She was born March 4, 1955 in Faribault the daughter of Robert and Elaine (Chavie) Peterson. Annette attended high school in Kenyon. She married Michael Engel on August 12, 1972. She had three beautiful children Chris, Liz, and Katie whom she raised. Her family was the highlight of her life. Annette enjoyed cooking, flower gardening, bird watching and loved the holidays. She enjoyed life and the lives of others around her. She is survived by children, Chris (Becky), Liz, Katie (Leif); grandchildren, Jenna, Gavin, Gunnar, Terrence; father, Robert Peterson; brothers, Steve, Fred (Becky), Larry (Marie), Mark (Nicole), Scott (Jean), and John Peterson; sisters, Rocky (Vinny) Rauk, Cindy (Red) Meyer, Jane Starch, Julie (Ray) Greseth, Eileen (Scott) Germundson, Laura (Brian) Haugen, and Peggy Burow. Annette was preceded in death by her mother Elaine Peterson. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home, Kenyon on Monday from 4pm to 7pm and at St. Michael's Catholic Church on Tuesday from 10am to 11am. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at 11am at St. Michael's Catholic Church. Interment will be in the St. Michael''s Catholic Cemetery.
