April Lynn (Bakken) Klinger, 56, of Brownsdale, died unexpectedly Saturday, February 20th, 2021, at the Mayo Clinic Hospital, St. Marys Campus in Rochester. She was born April 1, 1964, in Owatonna, to Milton and Zola (Knutson)Bakken. April attended kindergarten in West Concord and Kenyon public school. She had a great sense of humor and enjoyed many things in life including singing, listening to music, collecting antiques and most importantly spending time with her kids, grandchildren and siblings. April is survived by her children, Jennifer (Jason) Novotne of Dodge Center, Brittany (Dustin) Plank of Brownsdale and Ryan Bakken of Brownsdale; seven grandchildren; siblings; Nita (Robbin) Warner of Blaine, Dennis (Kimberly) of Kenyon, Nancy Bakken of Wanamingo, Bruce (Jessica) Bakken of Pine Island, and Chris (Tanya) Bakken of Faribault. She is preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Zola Bakken; and Brother, Bryne Bakken.
