Arlene M. Peters, 83, of Owatonna, died Monday, February 18, 2019 at her daughter's home. Arlene Mavis was born July 13, 1935 in Owatonna, the daughter of LaVerne and Dorna (Bartz) Reiter. She graduated from Owatonna High School in 1954. Arlene united in marriage to Robert L. Peters on July 13, 1957 at Associated Church. She was an in-home daycare provider for over 60 years. Arlene enjoyed attending various family activities, watching MN sports teams on TV, reading, and spending time with family and friends. She loved Jesus with all of her heart, and enjoyed attending services at Destiny Christian Church. Arlene was a lover of people, and people loved her. She is now at peace in her new heavenly home, taking care of God's children. She will be missed by her children, Randy (Mary) Peters, Vicki Peters, Linda (Dennis) Drache, and Lori (Steve) Stoykovich, all of Owatonna; siblings, Loren (Lavonne) Reiter of Owatonna; 9 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and brother, David Reiter. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Thursday from 3-6pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 22, 2019 at 11am at Destiny Christian Church with visitation one hour prior. Interment will be in the Owatonna Memorial Gardens. Memorials are preferred to the donor's choice.
