Arnett F. Bahls, 93, of Owatonna, died Monday, April 6, 2015 at Traditions I.
She was born December 11, 1921 in Merton Township, Minnesota the daughter of George and Theresa (Tully) Anhorn. She attended District 62 School in Deerfield Township. Arnett was united in marriage to Arnold Bahls on November 26, 1942 in Owatonna. After marriage the couple lived in Owatonna, Wadena and Medford, before returning to Owatonna. Arnett worked at Elwood's Cleaners for around fourteen years and at Truth Hardware for about fourteen years. Arnett was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary, and a member of the Eagles. She enjoyed dancing, going to the casinos, and fishing with her husband.
She is survived by sister, Virginia Meinke of Faribault, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Arnold in 2002, and her brothers George, Tom, Nick, and Phil Bud Anhorn, and sister Phyllis Jacobson.
Funeral services will be held Friday April 10, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Richard Steffen officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Owatonna Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to Owatonna Area Hospice. The family would like to thank the staff at Traditions I. Arrangements are being handled by Michaelson Funeral Home.
