Arnulfo Bermea Sr., 50, of Claremont died Sunday, May 30, 2010 at Midwestern Regional Medical Center, Zion Illinois. Arnulfo was born May 9, 1960 in Charlotte, Texas the son of Marcello and Juanita (Garcia) Bermea. At a young age Arnulfo moved with his family to Plainview, TX and there he was raised and attended school. He later worked for seed companies. In 1987, he moved to Claremont and worked for Energy Economics as a meter technician located in Dodge Center up until the time of his illness. Arnulfo enjoyed working on cars both mechanically and in restoration. He also enjoyed cooking with his specialty being pork chops with zucchini. Most of all, he enjoyed being with his kids and his grandchildren. He is survived by a daughter, daughter, Lisa (and Daniel) Martinez of Claremont; four sons, Arnulfo Jr. (and Stella) Bermea of Owatonna; Anthony Bermea of Claremont; Eric Bermea of Owatonna; Matthew Bermea of Owatonna; his mother, Juanita Ray of Owatonna; a brother, Marcello (and Rebecca) Bermea of Claremont; two half brothers, Jesse Ramirez of Owatonna; Ricky Ramirez of Owatonna; four sisters, Rose Marie Bermea of Floydada, TX; Lydia Rodriquez of Odessa, TX; Mary Alice Jimenez of Plainview, TX; Delia (and Jose) Castillo of Faribault; special friend, Eva Gayosso of Claremont; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Marcello Bermea Sr. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home, Owatonna on Thursday, June 3, 2010 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and one hour prior to the service in the church. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 4, 2010 at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Owatonna with Father Kurt Farrell officiating.
