Obituary

Audrey O. Keefe, 95, of Owatonna, died Saturday, November 20, 2010 at Cedarview Care Center. She was born July 13, 1915 in Hayfield, Minnesota the daughter of Charles and Minnie (Tverberg) Call. Audrey attended school in Garden City and graduated from Mankato High School in 1932, and then worked at Owatonna Shoe Company. She was united in marriage November 18, 1939 at the St. John's Parish House in Mankato. She was a substitute teacher at Owatonna High School, and then taught business courses under the Manpower Program at Albert Lea Vocational School. Audrey also taught Social Studies at Faribault Jr. High School retiring from teaching in 1976. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, and was a volunteer driver for Meals on Wheels, and a member of the Retired Educators Association. She is survived by three sons Michael Keefe of Eagle Lake, MN, Thomas (Nina) Keefe of Fulshear, TX, and Patrick Keefe of Owatonna. She is also survived by two grandchildren, three great grandchildren, two Brothers Charles Call of White Springs, FL, and John Call of Huntsville, AL. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward and one sister Ruth. Visitation will be Sunday November 28 from 1-4 PM at Michaelson Funeral Home. Interment will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to the Make a Wish Foundation, or the donor''s choice. Visitation: 11/28/2010 13:00 11/28/2010 16:00 Service:
