Audrey Mae Long, 91, of Medford, formerly of Owatonna, died Sunday, February 16, 2020 at Owatonna Hospital.
She was born May 25, 1928 in Elmore the daughter of Roy and Arvilla (Akemann) Naumann. Audrey moved to Steger, IL where she graduated from high school. Following high school, she moved to Owatonna and worked for Federated Insurance. On June 21, 1950 she married Kenneth Long at Zion Lutheran Church in Lemond Township.
Audrey was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday school for over 30 years. She was also active in Girl Scouts and volunteering at McKinley School.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Long of Medford; sons, Cory (and Susan) Long of Lakeville, Perry (and Michele) Long of New Hope; grandchildren, Joe Jacobson, Ben Long, Jack Long; nephews and nieces, Ric Naumann, Curt Naumann, Barb Lueck, Pam Cardinal, Michelle Rysavy.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Maynard.
Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Thursday from 4pm to 7pm and at Redeemer Lutheran Church on Friday from 9:30am to 10:30am. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 21, 2020 at 10:30am at Redeemer Lutheran Church with The Reverend Kirk Griebel officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Clinton Falls.
