Audrey A. Meyer, 82, of Owatonna, died Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at the Faribault Care Center. She was born June 8, 1930 in Austin, Minnesota the daughter of Dean and Irene (Hopperstead) Hemmer. Audrey graduated from Austin High School in 1948, and married Durwood Meyer January 27, 1951 and the couple lived in Austin before moving to Owatonna in 1964. The couple later divorced. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Audrey enjoyed reading and watching TV. She is survived by her son, Richard Meyer of Owatonna, Cousin Betty (and Carlton 'Bud') Cook of Bloomington, and nieces, nephews, and other cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Joan Dammen. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Monday January 7, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral services will be held Monday January 7, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Michaelson Funeral Home with Pastor Barb Streed officiating.
