Audrey Faith Smith, 87, of Owatonna, died Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Lakeshore Rehabilitation Center in Waseca.

Audrey was born July 6, 1938, in Menomonie, Wisconsin, the daughter of Jack and Faith (Schleusner) Breitzman. She graduated from high school in Menomonie in 1956.

She was united in marriage to LaVern N. Smith on January 14, 1956, in Menomonie.

Audrey was a homemaker for her family and also was employed as a teacher's aide for many years. She enjoyed volunteering and caregiving.

Audrey is survived by her two sons, Brian (Jeanie) Smith of Owatonna and Marty (Leslie) Smith of Rochester; eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; one brother, Dennis Breitzman of Frazee; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vern in 2017; two sons, Tim and Craig; one grandson, Lucas Smith; and one brother, Jack Breitzman.

A Celebration of Audrey's Life will be held 2-4 PM, Friday, January 9, 2026, at Realife Cooperative of Owatonna, 235 22nd Street SE.
