Obituary

Barbara 'Barb' Jean Noble, 50, of West Concord, died Friday, December 26, 2008 at Methodist Hospital, Rochester. She was born September 9, 1958 in Faribault the daughter of Anton and Marcella (Turek) Petricka. Barb graduated from Faribault High School and attended River Valley Vo-Tech. She married Mark Noble April 23, 1977 in Faribault. Barb was a precision machinist for KG Manufacturing for 12 years, worked for Purfeest Grain and later Al Corn. She also worked with her husband operating Noble's Repair and later Moland Repair. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. Barb loved to watch hockey, baseball, football and NASCAR. She was an avid sports fan. She loved to dance and played the accordion organ. Barb kept alive some lost arts such as calligraphy and quilling. She enjoyed reading and writing poetry. Barb also enjoyed the outdoors, flowers and gardening. She is survived by her husband, Mark Noble of West Concord; daughters, Tera Noble of Rochester, Tracy Noble of Rochester; brother, Tony Petricka of Owatonna; sisters, Marion (and Orville) Bauer of Faribault, LaVonne (and Hank) Speak of Mansfield, TX, Susie Petricka of Faribault; mother-in-law, Faye Noble and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anton Marcella Petricka and son, Matthew 'Mack' Noble. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home, Kenyon on Tuesday from 4-8pm and at St. Michael's Catholic Church on Wednesday from 9:30-10:30am. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at 10:30am at St. Michael's Catholic Church with The Reverend Fernando Ortega officiating. Interment will be in the St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation: 12/30/2008 16:00 12/30/2008 20:00 Service: and one hour prior to the service at the church. 12/31/2008 10:30
