Barb A. Ramsey, 69, of Owatonna, died Thursday, May 23, 2013 at her home. She was born October 14, 1943 in Blooming Prairie, Minnesota the daughter of Oscar and Hilda (Luthe) Lysne. She graduated from Blooming Prairie High School in 1961, and worked for the Blooming Prairie Telephone Company as an operator. She then started working at Owatonna State Bank in 1963 until 1993. Barb recently worked for Premier Bank in Owatonna from 1994 until 2013. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. Barb loved to spend time with her family, especially her three grandchildren. She was a very happy and fun-loving person. She is survived by her husband Ronald Ramsey of Owatonna, daughter, Jennifer (and Chad) Spinler of Rogers and three grandchildren Samuel, Anna, and Chloe. She is also survived five sisters Esther (Jim) Dalager of Austin, Agnes Lerud of Austin, Maxine (Bill) Perendy of Mankato, Donna (David) Symes of Austin, and Sharon Johnson of Geneva, three brothers Harvey (Selma) Lysne of Austin, Gene (Barb) Lysne of Albert Lea, and Jim (Bev) Lysne of Owatonna, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister Edna Potter. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Tuesday May 28, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and at St. John Lutheran Church on Wednesday one hour prior to the service. Funeral services will be held Wednesday May 29, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. John Lutheran Church with Pastor Dave Klawiter officiating. Interment will be in the St. John Cemetery in Owatonna.
