Belinda J. Stern, 68, of Owatonna, died Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at her home. She was born July 7, 1944 in Cebu, Philippines the daughter of Delfin and Sotera (Verano) Jabillo. She married David Stern November 19, 1975 in the Philippines, and the couple moved to Owatonna in 1976. Belinda worked at the Owatonna Care Center as a nursing assistant for almost thirty years and loved going to work everyday. Belinda enjoyed gardening, yard work, the Black Hills, fishing trips, and spending time with her granddaughters. She is survived by her husband David of Owatonna, daughter, Cathy (and Keith) Piepho of New Richland, and two granddaughters Jasmine and Madison. She is also survived by her siblings Aurelio, Benigna, Lilita, Bienvinida, and Leonora. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son Joshua, and one sister Deloris and one brother Eustiquio . Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Friday April 12, 2013 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday April 13, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Michaelson Funeral Home with Pastor David Levy officiating. Interment will be in the St. John Cemetery in Owatonna.
