Bennett Walter Walker, 54, of Red Wing, died Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at Fairview Red Wing Medical Center. He was born May 15, 1956 in International Falls the son of Milbert and Dorothy (Stafford) Walker. At age 6, he moved with his family to Sogn Valley and in 1965 to the Wanamingo area where they farmed. Bennett helped on the farm and attended Wanamingo schools. More recently, Bennett worked for IRC in Red Wing. He is survived by his parents, Milbert and Dorothy Walker of Wanamingo; half brother, Bob (and Joyce) Walker of Mantorville; half sister, Elaine (and Michael) Waddington of Portland, OR and nieces, nephews and cousins. Bennett was preceded in death by his brother, Roland Walker. Visitation will be at Emmanuel Lutheran Church on Friday, October 29, 2010 from 1pm to 2pm. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 29, 2010 at 2pm at Emmanuel Lutheran Church with The Reverend Martin Horn officiating. Interment will be in the Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Aspelund.
