Bernice C. Olsen, 89, of West Concord, died Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at Cedarview Care Center. She was born December 28, 1918 in Claremont Township, Minnesota the daughter of Julius and Carolina (Faupel) Hobert. On June 30, 1940 she married Maxwell Olsen. They lived in the West Concord and Ellington area for many years. Bernice was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and animals, especially her dog. She has been a resident at Cedarview Care Center in Owatonna for several years. Bernice is survived by her nieces, Doris (and Duane) Paulson of Owatonna, Ruth (and Ferris) Chladek of Owatonna, as well as other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 7 sisters and 5 brothers. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Friday from 1-2 PM. Funeral services will be held Friday, Feb. 1 at 2:00 PM at Michaelson Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Concord Cemetery in Concord Township.
