Beverly Marie Bloomenrader, 72, of Owatonna, died Friday, April 3, 2015 at her home in Owatonna. Bev was born December 4, 1942 in Wells, Minnesota the daughter of W.L. Beaner and Marie (Niebuhr) Krohnberg. She graduated Owatonna High School in 1961. Bev married Ken Bloomenrader on May 4, 1963 at St. John Lutheran Church and made their home in Owatonna. Bev worked at Federated Mutual Insurance Company, Owatonna Public Schools, and Heinz Insurance Company retiring in 1998. Bev enjoyed playing cards with family and friends, especially playing bridge several times a month with her close friends. She loved gardening at her home always planning new plant schemes and sharing beauties with others. Bev also enjoyed the pleasure of traveling with family and friends. Bev was a life long member of St. John Lutheran Church. She served on the Altar Guild and assisted in the initial planning, development, and maintenance of the hosta and flower gardens. She is survived by her husband, Ken Bloomenrader of Owatonna; son, Brad (Martha) Bloomenrader of Owatonna; daughter, Beth (Terry) Eiynck of Andover; three granddaughters, Holly and Laura Bloomenrader of Owatonna, and Taylor Eiynck of Andover; sister, Betty (Peter) Hackett of Walker. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister and brother-in-law, Barb and Henry Roensch. Visitation will be at St. John Lutheran Church, Owatonna on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 10:30 AM at St. John Lutheran Church, Owatonna with Pastor Dave Klawiter officiating. Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Owatonna. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. John Lutheran Church Furnace and Parking Lot Fund, American Cancer Society, or Homestead Hospice House. The family would like to express their gratitude to the many physicians and nurses who attended to Bev the last twenty-three years.
