Beverly M Hinkel, 71, of Owatonna, died Friday, October 31, 2008 at Owatonna Hospital. She was born January 20, 1937 in Mankato, Minnesota the daughter of Charles and Doris (Kittleson) Burt. Beverly was a 1955 graduate of Good Council Academy for Girls. She became a LPN from North Iowa Area Community College. Beverly worked in several hospitals between Arizona and Iowa. She worked at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Mason City from 1968-1985. Beverly loved animals, horseback riding, crafts, crocheting, fishing, reading and traveling. She is survived by daughter, Michele O'Bryon of Mason City, IA; daughter, Shari (and Greg) Vick of Owatonna; son, Greg Hinkel of Northwood, IA; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Charlene (and Richard) Grinnen of Owatonna; sister, Sandra (and Bob) Lynch of Eagan; brother, Charles (and Pat) Burt Jr. of Madison Lake; brother, Daniel (and Darlean) Burt of Mankato; brother, Steven (and Diania) Burt of New Ulm; brother, Bruce (and Kathy) Burt of St. Peter; brother, Thomas (and Sandy) Burt of Wisconsin; along with many nieces and nephews. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, two sons and one daughter. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Wednesday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM.
