At the grand age of 69, Beverly left us on March 2, 2011. She is survived by her Son, Jeffery Jay Koerner and daughter, Bonnie Jean Koerner, her mother Maxine Schroeder, sisters Darlene Pearl, and Ardy Steinhaus, brother Allen Schroeder, grandson Taylor Koerner and granddaughter Aubrey Krueger and many close friends who she loved as family. She would like to say; 'thank you," to her closest friend Sharon and,'Good Bye' to her Red Convertible that she bought last summer. Although Beverly did not start driving until 1988, last summer she fulfilled her life-long dream of owning a red convertible. Despite being born with profound hearing loss, Beverly earned her high school diploma and joined the work force in the early 60's. She worked for 20 years at Sheldahl Inc. in Nfld. as an assembler on the factory line. She retired from there to find work at Mystic Lake Casino in Prior Lake. She enjoyed her time at the All Star Caf where she had lots of contact with co-workers and fellow gamblers. After her retirement she enjoyed visiting casinos, playing cards with friends and neighbors but most of all spending time with her children and their families. Beverly was a wonderful role model as a survivor, hard-worker, and a loving, open-minded mother, grandmother and friend! A Celebration of Beverly's life will be held Saturday March 12, 2011 at the home of her son Jeff Koerner of Morristown from 2-5 PM.
