Beverly A. Macht, 84, of Owatonna, died Saturday, March 2, 2019 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester.
Beverly Ann was born October 24, 1934 in Murray Township, daughter of Marion and Anne (Deneault) Donahue. On June 6, 1956, she married Roman Carl Macht in Jeffers, Minnesota. Beverly worked for 17 years as a secretary at Federated Insurance Company. She also volunteered at West Hills Orphanage and at the Pink Pantry. She lived in Owatonna for 46 years. Beverly was a member of Catholic Daughters, the Art Society, and the Red Hat Society.
Beverly enjoyed flower gardening and decorating. She also enjoyed spending her time golfing, bowling, dancing, reading, playing games, solving crossword puzzles, and creating detailed embroidery. Beverly very much loved her dog, Ava.
She will be missed by her husband, Roman; 6 children, David (Dawn) Macht of Owatonna, Jean (Dan) Bieber of Sun City Center, FL, Ken (Donna) Macht of Owatonna, Shari (Vaughn) Lenander of Lonsdale, Joan (Craig) Breamer of Owatonna, and Janet (Brian) Wobschall of Owatonna; 18 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Elvera Benson; and many more family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Jason Macht; brothers, John and Leo Donahue; and sister, Louise Fester.
Visitation will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Friday from 10-11am. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am on Friday, March 8, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father James Starasinich officiating. Memorials are preferred to the donor's choice.
