Blanche M. Arms, 97, of Owatonna, died Sunday, April 24, 2011, at Homestead Hospice House. Blanche Margaret Reineke was born January 11, 1914, in Blooming Grove Township, Waseca County the daughter of Edward and Clara (Schuette) Reineke. There she was raised and was graduated from Waseca High School in 1931. She married Clarence Hanson in 1934 and the couple made their home in Waseca with their three daughters. Blanche ran the office in their Pontiac dealership. Blanche moved to Minneapolis and worked for the Veterans Administration Office. She married Delbert Arms in June 19, 1976, in Burnsville. The couple moved to Owatonna in 1982. Blanche volunteered at the Senior Citizen Center where in 1995 she was recognized as Steele County Senior Citizen Volunteer of the year. Blanche enjoyed many things, especially, playing cards, board games, dancing and league bowling. Delbert and she enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and to Canada. Most important were her children and grandchildren. She is survived by three daughters, Barbara Bolduan (and Donald, deceased) of Omaha; Darlene (and Gerald) Anderson of New Brighton; Naomi (and Paul) Gray of Middleton, WI; 10 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Blanche was preceded in death by her husband Delbert (2005), her parents, a brother, and a sister. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 26, 2011, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and also one hour prior to the service in the church. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at 2:30 PM in Trinity Lutheran Church with The Reverend Dean Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Owatonna. Memorials are preferred to American Cancer Society or donor''s choice.
