Brandon Wayne Beman, 17, of Owatonna, died Thursday, February 16, 2017 at his home.
Brandon was born February 10, 2000 in Owatonna, Minnesota the son of Christopher and Tami (Kaiser) Beman. He was currently enrolled in the 11th grade at the Owatonna Alternative Learning Center. Brandon excelled at hockey. He played summer hockey for the AAA Ice Bucks on the defensive line and loved the kids he played alongside and against. His favorite hockey team was the Chicago Blackhawks and he had the opportunity to watch his team win against the Wild in playoffs. Brandon also had a passion for fishing and hunting, outdoor sports taught by his dad. He was an artist, loved to draw and listen to country music; especially Jason Aldean. Brandon also had a good sense of humor, cared deeply for others, and will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his parents, Chris and Tami Beman of Owatonna; brothers, Tylor and Justin Beman of Owatonna; maternal grandparents, Bob and Judy Kaiser of Waseca; paternal grandparents, Conrad and Vickie Beman of Midland, TX; great grandfather, Larry Schneider of San Angelo, TX; uncle; Thomas Kaiser of Waseca; aunt, Christine and Shawn Andrew of Lubbock, TX; cousins, Patrick Beman and Nathan Kaiser; many extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his great grandparents.
Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home 4:00 to 7:00 PM Monday, February 20, 2017 and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Michaelson Funeral Home, Owatonna with Reverend John Weisenburger officiating. Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Owatonna. A reception will follow at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Owatonna. Memorials are preferred to the family.
