Brian James Diffendorfer, 54, of Owatonna, died Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at his home. He was born April 10, 1965 in Rochester the son of David and Jane (McLeod) Diffendorfer. Brian graduated from Owatonna High School and attended Vo-Tech school in Mankato. He worked for Modern Metal for several years prior to working at Owatonna Lamp Company. He then started Bri's, helping people with yard work, painting and snow removal. Brian enjoyed hunting and fishing and cherished his ice fishing house. He was an outdoorsman and liked agate hunting on the north shore. He loved his dogs, Thor and Bella, cats, Kizzy and Misty and birds, Harley and Sam. He enjoyed playing pool in league with his son, Nicholas. Brian will be remembered for giving unconditional love to his family and friends. A Sunday was well spent outside by the smoker and watching game shows. He is survived by son, Nicholas Diffendorfer of Owatonna; daughter, Nicole Diffendorfer of Owatonna; partner, Tammy Zvorak and her children, Heather and Justin all of Owatonna; grandchildren, Lilly, Hailly, Jovanny, Domingo and Sophie; sisters, Cheryl (and Amy Honsey) Diffendorfer of Rochester, Cindy (and Frank) Green of Ellendale; brother, Tim Diffendorfer of Duluth. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Friday from 4pm to 7pm and on Saturday from 9:30am to 10:30am. Memorial services will be held Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 10:30am at Michaelson Funeral Home.
