Burt J. Cramer, 92, of Owatonna, died Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Timberdale Trace in Owatonna.
He was born on August 17, 1927, in Turtle Lake, Wisconsin to Realus and Lois (Mason) Cramer.
Burt served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged. On June 24, 1950, he married Barbara Wolesky at the Associated Church in Owatonna. He was a truck driver and later worked as a carpenter for the City of Owatonna until his retirement in 1988. Burt enjoyed remodeling especially the West Hills in Owatonna. He also enjoyed the outdoors including camping and fishing.
He is survived by his children, Deb (and Lee) Schmidt of Medford, Tammy Gasner of Owatonna, John (and Mary) Cramer of Medford, Barb (and Mark) Burmeister of Faribault; grandchildren, Craig, A.J., Derek, Katie and Will; great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Laila, Paisley, Bentley and Kennedy; precious dog, Tiny; many nieces and nephews.
Burt was preceded in death by wife Barbara who died on April 16, 2004; son, Doug; great-grandson, Otie; brother, Carl "Sonny"; sisters, Pearl, Irene, Ethel, Lucille, Blanche, Marcella "Tink" and Ruth.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019, at 1:00 PM at Michaelson Funeral Home with Reverend Coqui Conkey officiating. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in the National Bohemian Cemetery in Owatonna. Memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer's Association or the National Cancer Society.
