Calvin G. Kruckeberg, 89, of Claremont, died Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Homestead Hospice House. Calvin was born March 18, 1925 in Ripley Township, Minnesota the son of Ezra and Lena (Mussman) Kruckeberg. He was raised near Claremont and graduated from Claremont High School. He was united in marriage to Florence Pachl on May 25, 1947 at First Presbyterian Church, Claremont. They farmed in Ripley Township near Claremont. Florence died March 31, 2010. Cal lived his entire life on the farm. Cal loved the outdoors and took pride in farming He is survived by a son, Randy Kruckeberg of Owatonna; a daughter, Sally (and Wade) Mulari of Omaha, NE; three grandsons, Jeremy Kruckeberg of Owatonna; Adam Mulari of Omaha; Brian (and Kim) Mulari of Omaha; and a great granddaughter, Aubrey Rose. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Florence; his parents; a brother, Sylvester and a sister, Alvina. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends. There will be a reception and a time for fellowship at Michaelson Funeral Home on Monday, November 24, 2014 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Private family graveside services will be held in Hillside Cemetery, Claremont with The Reverend Dr. Joe Jones officiating.
