Caryl Dean Bringgold, 94, of West Concord, died Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Traditions II in Owatonna, Minnesota. Caryl was born June 8, 1921 in Concord Township, Dodge County, Minnesota the son of Charles and Tena (Quall) Bringgold. He was a graduate of West Concord High School. Caryl was united in marriage to Ruth Perret on November 29, 1941 in West Concord. Caryl grew up in the West Concord area where he farmed, bought and sold cattle and horses, along with milking cows. Caryl enjoyed horse back riding and giving wagon rides and sleigh rides to children. He was a member of Dodge County Posse and Concord Church of Christ. Caryl is survived by his daughters, Anne Thompson of Columbus, IN; Judy (and Tom) Andrews of Viola, AR; Patricia (and Dale) Dohrmann of West Concord, Marilyn (and John) Styndl of Blooming Prairie; son, Christopher Bringgold of Faribault; eight grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ruth; grandson, Michael Andrews; sons-in-law, Darrel Stanley, John Thompson, and Royce Andrews; sister, Gertrude Priewert. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 1:30 PM at Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna with Pastor Doug Jones officiating.
