Catherine A. Henry 87, of Kenyon, died Monday, July 21, 2008 at the Kenyon Sunset Home. She was born October 16, 1920 in Breckenridge, Minnesota the daughter of William and Alice (Ryan) Henry. She graduated from Kenyon High School, and then worked in the cities on airplanes during the war. Catherine later worked for Sears for many years and later in the dietary department at Methodist Hospital in Minneapolis and for Lyngblomsten Retirement Home in St. Paul where she retired. Catherine enjoyed farming, hunting, and fishing. Family and friends survive Catherine. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Bob Henry. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home- Kenyon on Wednesday July 23, 2008 from 5-7 PM and at First Evangelical Lutheran Church on Thursday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Funeral service will be held Thursday July 24, 2008 at 2:00 PM at First Evangelical Lutheran Church- Kenyon with the Reverend Luther Mathsen officiating. Interment will be in the St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Cherry Grove Township.
