Cecil Thomas Mincks, 55, of Owatonna, died of natural causes Thursday, January 11, 2018 at his residence. He was born May 7, 1962 in Macomb, Illinois the son of Franklin and Mary (Llewellyn) Mincks. Cecil lived in Austin, Adams, and Owatonna, Minnesota and had several friends from all 3 places. He graduated from high school in Scioto, Illinois. He loved watching NASCAR and was an avid fan. He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Mary Mincks; uncle, Don Llewellyn. He is survived by his daughter, Cathy Lane of Macomb, Illinois; son, Cody of Austin; brother, Mark Mincks of Austin; sister, Chris Mincks of Macomb, Illinois and many aunts, uncles and cousins. There will be a private memorial service at the home of Mark Mincks on Tuesday, January 16, 2018.
