Christopher C. Montanye, 45 of Rogersville, TN died unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 Charlie, son of Susan and Rodney Montanye, was born May 23rd, 1975, in Northfield, Minnesota. He graduated from Kenyon High School in 1993. He married Candy Simones in 1999 in Lakeland, Georgia. Charlie spent 10 years in the Air Force and 11 years in the Army. Charlie greatly enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and playing music. His greatest joy was spending time with his daughter, Claudia. He is survived by his wife, Candy, his daughter, Claudia Montanye, three stepchildren, Brandy, Brandon, and Christopher Ute; his mother, Susan of Kenyon, his sisters, Casey Montanye of Northfield and Samantha Malecha of Faribault; Sister-in-law, Wendy (Brian) Montanye of Faribault, and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Rodney, and brother, Brian. A PRIVATE memorial service will be held.
