Cindy Lee Blair, 57, of Owatonna, died Thursday, August 21, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 18, 1957 in Appleton, Wisconsin the daughter of Douglas Eland and Barbara Bleich. She was the youngest of five children. Cindy married William Nahmens and in their union had two children, Jennifer D. and William. They lived at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. They later divorced. She then married Jake Blair in Lafayette, Indiana and resided with his two children, Missy and Jake Jr. Cindy also lived in Plainfield, Indiana and Waldo, Florida. She moved to Owatonna in 2013 with her daughter and grandson. Cindy worked for the drycleaners, assistant manager for fast food chain, and a caregiver for home health care. Cindy enjoyed spending time with her family and attending family reunions. She crocheted many special gifts for her family. Cindy also enjoyed going out and meeting new people. She is survived by daughter, Jennifer D. Nahmens (and David Lambert) of Owatonna; son, William (and Jennifer A.) Nahmens of Lafayette, IN; grandson, Conner Nahmens of Owatonna; granddaughter, Autumn Nahmens of Lafayette, IN; step grandchildren, Ashlyn and Alex of Lafayette, IN; sisters, Sharlene Schaefer, Diane Petroske, and Joyce Majerus; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Loren. Michaelson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
