Clara M. Miller, 94, formerly of Owatonna, died Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at Colfax Health and Rehabilitation Center. Clara Miller was born July 19, 1914 in Lowville Township, Murray County near Lake Wilson, Minnesota. She grew up on a farm in Lowville Township, and attended country school, Lake Wilson High School and Mankato Commercial College Clara and William Miller were married Dec. 22, 1937. They farmed near Iona, Minnesota and attended the Iona Presbyterian Church where they both accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior. In 1958 they moved to Owatonna. Clara was a member of The Associated Church, Grace circle, prayer group, Circle IV and garden club. She is survived by her children, Willis (and Mary) Miller of New Prague, Carol (and Verl) Carlstrom of Eau Claire, WI, Sandra (and Severin) Blenkush of Browerville, Mary Ann (and Douglas) Nelson of Breezy Point, William (and Rebecca) Miller of Yucaipa, CA; 20 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William in 1983, parents, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Visitation will be at The Associated Church on Monday from 10-11am. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 27, 2009 at 11:00am at The Associated Church, 800 Havana Road, Owatonna, MN. Interment will be in the Owatonna Memorial Gardens.
