Claudia C. Thomas, 90, of Owatonna, died Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at Cedarview Care Center. She was born March 25, 1918 in South Fork Township, Iowa the daughter of Fred and Myrtle (Boyer) Vesey. Claudia married Floyd M. Thomas on February 16, 1943 in Rochester. Floyd died on January 29, 1980. Claudia was a homemaker who loved spending time with her family. She played a very active role in her children's lives. Claudia enjoyed bingo and was an avid Minnesota Twins fan. She lived most of her life in Rochester. She is survived by a son, Richard (and Marlene) Thomas of Coarse Gold, CA; daughter, Trudy (and Dave) Severson of Owatonna; grandson, Todd Thomas of Coarse Gold, CA; grandson, Troy (and Shanna) Thomas of Coarse Gold, CA; granddaughter, Meghan (and Joe) Johnson of Savage, MN; grandson, Erik (and Kyra) Severson of Charlotte, NC; great grandchildren, Taylor Thomas and Ella Johnson. Claudia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Floyd, one brother, and five sisters. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Monday December 1, 2008 from 3-4 PM, with funeral services immediately following. The Reverend Michael Fuller will be officiating.
