Conrad Leonard Hedberg Jr., 63, of Owatonna, passed Tuesday, October 7, 2014 in Owatonna. Conrad was born February 4, 1951 in St. Paul Minnesota the son of Conrad Sr. and Agnes (Scherman) Hedberg. He Graduated from Cretin High School; St. Paul, MN in 1969. He studied mathematics and architecture for three years at the University of Minnesota. After leaving the Metropolitan region he relocated to Southern MN, established his business in transportation, and called Owatonna his home. Conrad married Melonee Graff on February 18, 1999 in the Dominican Republic. During his life's work he was involved with the Steele County Planning and Zoning Commission during the 1990's, was owner and operator of several trucking terminals in Owatonna, including his latest business relationship with Echo Global Logistics as an Independent Agent Transportation Manager. He was an active member of the Little Theater in Owatonna and enjoyed participating in the Arts. In most recent years he loved his trips to Branson, MO where he and his wife purchased property for retirement. He is survived by his wife Melonee Graff; three children, Carissa (Don) Kuehn, Kristin Hedberg, Brandon Hedberg; two step-children Matthew (Tara) Graff, Nathan (Kimberly) Graff; two grandchildren and five step-grandchildren; his brother, Thomas Hedberg; sisters Catherine Hedberg and Mary (Joe) Davis and six nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his Parents and an infant daughter Heather. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 12, 2014 from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna.
