Coral Jeanne Burgett, 90, of Owatonna, died Monday, April 22, 2019, at Koda Living Community. Coral Jeanne was born to John and Estelle (Delongo) Berg on November 23, 1928, in Duluth, Minnesota and adopted at age 7 by Dave and Rose (Delongo) Gravelle. Coral married Elmer Lee Burgett on August 20, 1949 and they lived in Los Angeles, California with their young family until their divorce in 1970. While raising her family, she was employed with Daniel Freeman Memorial Hospital and the Los Angeles County Sheriff's department. Coral is survived by her children, John Burgett, Dale Burgett and his life partner, George Gilman and Linda Burgett; daughter-in-law, Veronica Burgett; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Donald (and Celia) Berg; special friends, Kathleen Mullen and the Galen Olson family and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and friend of more then 30 years, Elmer Burgett; sons, David and Paul Burgett; brothers, Russell and Dale Berg. A Memorial Visitation will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Saturday, July 20th from 9-10 AM. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father James Starasinich officiating. Interment will be at a later date in Holy Cross Cemetery in Los Angeles, California. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Humane Society or charity of donor's choice.
