Cory J. Christenson, age 44, of Owatonna, died Friday, February 27, 2015 at his home. Cory was born June 7, 1970 in Owatonna, Minnesota the son of Giles and Sandi (Schmanski) Christenson. He was raised and attended school in Medford. In 1992 he was united in marriage to Tracy Bahe in Owatonna. The couple had three children, Jacob, Chance and Carter. Cory worked for Faribault Coop and also for Wholesale Tire, Expert Tire and for Jeff, Bobby and Steve Auto World. Tracy and Cory later divorced. Cory then met Lisa Baker and the couple shared an 8 year relationship and were to be married in June. Cory had many interest including fishing, music, camping, art and drawing. He also enjoyed writing poetry, cars and mechanical work. He was always there to help. He volunteered at the local homeless shelter. Cory loved animals, kids and was a member at Elevation North. He is survived by his three sons, Jacob, Chance (and Tiffany Gilbertson) and Carter Christenson all of Owatonna; his parents, Giles and Sandi Christenson of Medford; a sister, Amy (and Tim) Gedicke of Medford; his fianc�©, Lisa Baker of Boston, MA; his former wife, Tracy Bahe-Christenson; a granddaughter, Harmony Christenson; nephew and niece, Annelise and Jason Gedicke; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and a special uncle, Max. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Michaelson Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Jones, Pastor Todd Lundgren and Pastor Keith Haskell officiating.
