Craig Orlo Johnson, 58, of Owatonna, died Monday, June 21, 2010 at Homestead Hospice House after a brief illness surrounded by his family. He was born April 8, 1952 in Willmar, the son of Orlo and Beverly (Whitney) Johnson. Craig graduated from Richfield High School with the Class of 1970. He married Patricia Busho June 26, 1971 in Owatonna. Craig served in the US Army and later the Army Reserves. He also attended Inver Hills Junior College and the Academy of Accountancy. Craig worked for National Computer Systems, Gopher Sport, South Dakota Furniture Mart, Stitchery Studio and most recently at Mercury Minnesota, Inc. Since 2006 Craig and his wife owned and operated two Christian Internet businesses, MyChristianMarket.com and Acts2help.com. The couple enjoyed organizing fundraisers for children and families facing serious illness. Craig was a member of the Owatonna Eagles Club, the American Legion, former member of BOND Slaves Motorcycle Christian Ministry. He loved working in his yard, camping and spending time with his family. Craig took great joy in any day that he would have the opportunity to speak with all three of his children. He is survived by his wife, Patricia A. Johnson of Owatonna; daughters, Joya (and Jonathan) Hill of Bloomington, Rose (and Darin) Gowlland of Owatonna; son, Craig "CJ" (and Becky) Johnson of Owatonna; grandchildren, Hannah Hill, Luke Hill, Alec Gowlland; parents, Orlo and Beverly Johnson of Bloomington; brother, Brent (and Susan) Johnson of Phoenix, AZ; sister, Candy (and Jay) Tippet of Northridge, CA. Craig is also survived by many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by his brother, Kim Johnson. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Thursday from 4pm to 8pm and at Trinity Lutheran Church on Friday from 10am to 11am. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 25, 2010 at 11am at Trinity Lutheran Church with The Reverend John Lestock officiating. Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Owatonna.
