Cynthia Dianne "Cindy" Delong, 66, of Owatonna, died Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Koda Living Community. Cindy was born July 2, 1952 in North Carolina the daughter of Harley and Elaine (Shay) Hicks. In 1952, Cindy moved to Minnesota. She attended and graduated from Bloomington Lincoln High School. Cindy married Ross Johnson, and the couple had one child together, Cory Johnson. She was then divorced in 1972, and remarried in 1980 to Donald Delong. The couple separated about 20 years ago, but they had one child together, Tawna Johnson. Cindy moved to Owatonna in 2009. She is survived by her son, Cory Johnson; daughter, Tawna Johnson; grandchildren, Jessica, Ken, Patrick, Dustin, Rosalina, Devon, and Dominic; 2 great-grandchildren, Olivia and Jacob; siblings, Scott, Patrick, and Paul Hicks; son-in-law, Kevin; and significant other, Sam Delaney. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorials are preferred to the donor's choice.
