Dale F. Kamrath, 62, of Owatonna, died Monday, November 26, 2012 at St. Mary's Hospital. Dale was born October 27, 1950 in Faribault, the son of Harold and Ruth (Powers) Kamrath. He graduated from Kiester High School in 1968. He served four years in the Navy and attended vo-tech school in Mankato. Dale has been employed at SPX for 36 years. Dale enjoyed golf, chess, nascar, and cheering for the Vikings and Twins. He liked to travel and spend time with family. Dale was a member of the Owatonna Legion and VFW. Dale is survived by his siblings, Clarisse (Ludwig) Fretham of Waseca, Leon (Mabel) Kamrath of Owatonna, Richard 'Wade' Kamrath of Owatonna, Myron (Brenda) Kamrath of Faribault, Harold (Ledene) Kamrath of Albert Lea, Karla Schroeder of Waseca; aunt, Beatrice Powers of Primghar, IA; many nieces and nephews. Dale was preceded in death by his parents; infant brother; aunts; uncles; one niece; one brother-in-law. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Friday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral services will be held November 30, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Michaelson Funeral Home with Pastor Peter Strommen officiating. Interment will be in the Owatonna Memorial Gardens in Owatonna. Memorials are preferred to Steele County Humane Society, and Owatonna Historical Society.
