Dale "Danny" Percival, 75, of Owatonna, died Monday, July 12, 2021, at Valley View Assisted Living in Owatonna Dale was born June 22, 1946, the son of Dale W. and Gertrude (Boyenga) Percival, in Austin, MN. After graduating from Austin High School, he worked various jobs before working for Von Ruden as a machinist. He continued to work there through the different company changes and finished his career at Mustang Manufacturing. Danny was very mechanically inclined and enjoyed fixing things. His creative mind allowed him to make some of his own inventions. In his younger years he rode horse with his sister and entered competitions with her. Danny enjoyed everything relating to trains and built a HO scale model train of his own. He was a collector of model cars, building some very detailed models that he was very proud of. He also had a dog named Rex that he loved. He is survived by his brother George (Ruth) Percival of Austin and sister Jeanne (John) Julson of Austin, nieces, nephews and several grand nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. A celebration of life will be at Elevation North Church in Owatonna at 2:00 PM, on Friday, July 30, 2021, with Pastor Doug Jones. Family and friends may gather at church one hour prior to the service.
