Dale Troester Sr., 46, of Owatonna, died Sunday, November 30, 2014 at his home. Dale was born February 20, 1968 in Austin, Texas the son of Herman and Marie "Molly" (Tamayo) Troester. His father served in the armed forces and the family moved to different locations eventually settling in Austin, MN where Dale graduated from high school. He enlisted in the United States Navy. He worked various jobs including Daikin McQuay, Orkin; and Schwan's. Dale married Cachina Rock on September 16, 2000 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Faribault. They later divorced. Dale loved the Minnesota Vikings. He especially enjoyed fishing a seven mile stretch of river between St. Peter and Mankato. Most of all was that he enjoyed spending time with his children. His kids meant everything to him. He is survived by his former wife Cachina Rock of Faribault; their children, Dale Troester Jr.; Annabelle Troester; Breanne Troester all of Faribault; two brothers, Robert Tamayo of Rochester; Ronald (and Fran) Troester of Knoxville, TN; a niece, Emily Troester of Knoxville; and his grandmother, Josefa Tamayo of Corpus Christi, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a nephew, Steven Troester. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home, Owatonna on Friday, December 5, 2014 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
