Darlene Artis Dinse, 70, of Owatonna, died Monday, April 5, 2010 at the Owatonna Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 26, 1939 in Waseca, Minnesota the daughter of Orland and Carol Elizabeth (Weed) Hagen. Darlene graduated from New Richland High School in 1958, and married Dennis Dinse June 28, 1959 in New Richland. She worked at Southern Minnesota Grocery in Waseca, and then was a stay at home mother to raise their five children. Later Darlene worked for Central Co-op in Medford. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran in Meriden where she was active in Circle, ELCW, and Bible Study. Darlene also enjoyed knitting, crocheting, all kinds of crafts, cooking, baking, and most of all her grandchildren, and great granddaughter. She is survived by her husband Dennis of Owatonna, children Dawn (Ted) Stadler of Medford, DeAnn (Jim) Larson of Waseca, Denise (Steve) Wigham of Geneva, Dwain (Jayne) Dinse of Owatonna, and Darel (Kim) Dinse of Ellendale, eight grandchildren, four step grandchildren, one great granddaughter, and eight step great grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister Neoma (Ken) Johansen of New Richland, two brothers Ordwin 'Buzz' (Bobbi) Hagen of Kingwood, TX, and Ordean 'Bob' (Arlene) Hagen of Oakland, NE. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother Harlan. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Wednesday April 7, 2010 from 4-8 PM and at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Meriden on Thursday from 10-11 AM. Funeral service will be held Thursday April 8, 2010 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with The Reverend Gary Rusinko officiating. Interment will be in the St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery.
