Darlene Mae Kukuk, 86, of Owatonna, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at Benedictine Living Community.

She was born March 23, 1937 in Waseca, to Ed and Alice (Melcher) Reb. Darlene grew up in Waldorf and attended school there before working various jobs. She met Herbert Kukuk and they were united in marriage on January 11, 1957 in New Richland. Darlene was a very hard worker, great baker and loved spending the holidays with her family. she made her homemade rhubarb jam and pie, and cinnamon rolls for her family. She loved going camping, playing cards, animals, and Darlene especially loved her family and watching her great-grandchildren dance rectials. Darlene had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone.

She is survived by her husband Herbert Kukuk of Owatonna; daughters, Sheila Helms of Owatonna, Lynette Houdek of Owatonna; granddaughter, Maria Goodpaster of Owatonna; great-grandchildren, Christopher and Annabelle Goodpaster.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and son, Ronald Kukuk;

Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Michaelson Funeral Home.
