Darlene Lucille Jenkins (Enzenauer) Sutter, age 80, of Owatonna, died peacefully on Monday, December 23, 2024 at Birchwood Cottages in Owatonna.

Darlene was born January 7, 1944, in Waseca, to the late Ralph and Ellen (Robinson) Jenkins. She grew up and attended school in Waseca.

She married Wayne Enzenauer in February of 1961 and was married to Wayne until their divorce in 1987. She then married Don Sutter in February of 1988 and was married to Don until his passing in 2023.

Darlene enjoyed many things in her life. She was part of the Home Extension in Waseca. She loved to sew, bake, canning, gardening and raising birds. She loved her family with unconditional love. She was always there for them.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Lowrey; her son Scott (Donna) Enzenauer and stepdaughter, Rachel Kennedy. Three grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; siblings, Delores Jenkins, Mary Brown, Sue Sather, Ralph Jenkins and Sherry Zoll.

Besides her parents and her 2 husbands, Darlene was preceded in death by a step-son, Josh Sutter; a grandson, Josh Hanks; son-in-law, Keith Lowrey and a sister, Shirley Barto.

A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at 11 am, at Michaelson Funeral Home, 1930 Austin Road, Owatonna, with family receiving friends from 10 am until service time at the funeral home.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Birchwood Cottages of Owatonna for all the love and care that they provided to Darlene while she was there.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made in Darlene's honor to Ecumen Hospice of Mankato, Minnesota.
